One of the reasons I fell out of love with him was because my husband didn’t care about our 5 and 2 year olds. All he does is seat them in front of the TV or drive them around in the car. He never plays with them or even interacts with them until I “force” him.
He barely remembers getting them drunk, never cutting their nails, combing their hair, never forgetting to bathe them, brush their teeth, or change their clothes.
