Apiyo Okwiri, project manager of OBREAL Global, attended the event organised by the AAU “The role of African HEIs and National Research and Education Networks (NRENs) in the African Union’s continental education strategy, CESA 16-25”.
This workshop was held in Nairobi from 21-22 February 2022. The event covered a range of topics, from the importance of NRENs as research enablers, DNS security, affordable access to IP addresses by universities through AFRINIC and the case study of KENET (Kenya NREN), among others.
