My career started in higher education textbook publishing where I worked as a research editor for several years. I joined Stellenbosch University in 2012 and worked in institutional research at the Centre for Business Intelligence for seven years. I have since joined the Centre for Academic Planning and Quality Assurance as a Quality Assurance Officer. I have found quality assurance in higher education to be as dynamic as it is complex. It is certainly one of the most intellectually stimulating spaces to work in.
